National Trails Day Picnic 2021

Come and enjoy a nice hike and great cook-out …all for FREE.

Saturday, June 5th 2021

On Saturday June 5th the Friends of the Trails and TTA Plateau Chapter are hosting a FREE picnic for all trail workers and hikers in Cumberland County in recognition of all your efforts. The picnic will be at Meadow Park in Crossville and will be preceded by a hike of the Soldier’s Beach Trail. Please bring a lawn chair with you. It probably will not be needed but it may be useful if there is a big crowd.

Hike at 10:00am
Lunch at 11:30am.

Please register for you and any guests that would like lunch. (No registration needed if you are just hiking.)

Taking place on the first Saturday in June, National Trails Day® is a day of public events aimed at advocacy and trail service. Thousands of hikers, bikers, rowers, horseback riders, trail clubs, federal and local agencies, land trusts, and businesses come together in partnership to advocate for, maintain, and clean up public lands and trails.

Although it is free to attend this event we would like you to make a reservation to help with planning the catering.

For more information, please call (978) 604-4968.
